คำอธิบายBattery, Royal Ulster Yacht Club, Bangor - geograph.org.uk - 884617.jpg
English: Battery, Royal Ulster Yacht Club, Bangor. This small building sits off the Seacliff Road, directly opposite the RUYC (see 570514 and https://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=3092594 ) at Luke's Point. It is used as the battery for the yacht club - on race days a loud cannon or horn is sounded from here to alert the yachts out in Bangor Bay. The battery only seems to be the small square building on the left. The low building on the right doesn't seem to be in use at all (but perhaps is a storehouse) and according to the 1901 OS maps this was in use as a bathing house. See also 570488 and 570502.
For another view of the railings that run along much of the Seacliff Road see 756894.
